Introduction of Richard Bridgeman, Patent Agent Reg. # 57,773

Bio — Richard is a Patent Agent, registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He has been working in the field of software and semiconductors since 1980, and more specifically has concentrated in the field of networking software and semiconductors since 1999. He was an executive at networking firm iReady Corporation prior to iReady's acquisition by nVidia. Richard's prior engineering disciplines have included process control software (Rockwell Graphic Systems), embedded microcontroller software (video game maker Williams Electronics), ECL and CMOS chip design (DoD VHSIC) digital signal processor architecture (General Motors Hughes Electronics), and Electronic Computer Aided Design (Cadence Design Systems).

Education and Publications — Richard earned a BSEE from University of Illinois, and in addition to his engineering experience, he has authored many invention disclosures and technical papers, and holds patent applications himself.

International Lecture — Richard's international experience incudes four-years of expatriate service, living and working in Tokyo Japan. He has accumulated over one million flyer miles during the course of his twenty-some years of business travel and lectures worldwide. Although patent practice consumes most of Richard's time, he continues to lecture several times a year.
